Summer Violin Lab String Workshop 2020
We are thrilled to announce our workshop dates for 2020!
Where: Buffalo State University in Buffalo, NY
Wehn: August 10-13
I have worked for ten years to make Violin Lab a supportive online community. However, some experiences — ensemble playing, hands-on lessons, interactive master classes — require in-person interaction. We created our five day workshop to give students of all levels the chance to work one-on-one with professional musicians, learn from each other and connect with other violinists on the same journey.
Wherever you are in that journey, please join us for five days of
- Ensemble Playing.This year we will change the ensemble model and instead of large group formats will be focusing on Chamber experience. In other words you'll be working in smaller groups.
- Master Classes. You'll be working with a core group of people and we're goin to keep the master class with the smaller group.
- Private Lesson. We love to meeting you all in person! Everyone who attends the workshop will have a one hour private lesson with either me or one of our other master teachers.
- Technique Classes. Each day of the workshop we present a technique class designed for any level of player. Our goal with these classes is to give you new tools and knowledge so that as soon as you get home, you have loads of new practice materials as well as fresh perspectives.
